It was in 2015, on the summer market of Pérouges, a remarkable medieval village just over an hour from home, that we first met Bruno and Laurence, paper craftsman and woman then freshly settled in the "rue des rondes"... Our medieval inspiration and the carved decoration on leather formed a made-to-measure chest for their sheets of paper made in the very heart of this lovely city, so we tried a partnership, which proved to be beneficial in more than one way...

After a few tests, we adopted the A6 size with a decorative cross lacing on the spine, while inside, the pages simply maintained by the lace can be changed or increased in number as desired.

An association that sounds obvious for these both raw and elaborate natural materials, that are leather and fiber paper, for their textures and the particular touch they provide...

Our little notebooks have conquered, through visuals always different, the hearts of numbers of walkers passing through the city for 5 beautiful years, during which a friendship was also forged around our common love of handwork and the desire to push the limits of our respective practices...

Today Bruno and Laurence continue their artisanal ascent far from the tumult of tourists, exploring their new concept of paper farm in the Creuse countryside, because the fibers of their wonderful paper will now come from their own cultivation...
