Made of rigid and thick vegetable-tanned cowhide leather, lined with printed cork fabric, and adorned with 40 removable pages of artisanal linen/hemp paper from Papeterie Pasdeloup in Moutier d'Ahun (23).
The design is manually incised and embossed, then dyed and painted with a brush, featuring liquid gold gilding and a varnish finish.
It is assembled with a beige braided leather cord to hold the pages, which can be easily changed or refilled as desired by simple sliding...
It required over 30 hours of meticulous work.
