Vegetable tanned leather is a leather rot-proof made by long made tanned vegetable baths (tree bark juice) for many months old for premium quality. It is one of the most expensive market.
Here it is stained by hand in shades of dark khaki, varnish, with Celtic interlacing embossed and gilded patterns.
