I suggest you get Breton legend Ker Ys (or city of ys), belonging to the mythology of sunken cities, such Mu or Atlantis.
It is said in ancient times, at dawn of Christianity, Princess Dahut had obtained his father a wonderful city built below sea level and surrounded with thick protective walls.
But according to versions, attracted by the Devil (hidden under the guise of a young stranger) or punished for his sins seductress, gave him keys of the city, which was invaded by the waves.
To illustrate this theme found in my childhood (although I am not Breton), I was very much inspired artwork of the woodcarver René Quillivic and its graphics.
The Princess is a bronze key used to tie at the links of gold leather, featuring the keys of the city.
The waves in the background ravage the rest of the city under a sky of end of the world.
Made of tanned cowhide vegetable leather 2.8 mm approx, stained and painted in mahogany, Brown sand, Navy and turquoise. The complexion of the Princess is embellished with gold paint.
Varnished and oiled finish.
Stitched Brown lambskin saddle flaps.
Book of 20 sheets (40 pages) removable kraft paper 120g special sketches, A5 size.
