The pattern was created by me using a digital application then transferred to the leather, carved, dyed, painted and varnished with acrylic products mainly in shades of brown (about 8 hours of tinting).
Some of the leaves are carved, the others are cut and painted on goat parchment and glued here and there ...
The white Parnassius butterfly (which regularly appears in my work since "the book of Hanna" ) is carved and semi-cut in the sheet for a deep relief effect...
The medieval-Renaissance type corset worn by the character has a real leather lace knotted.
The frame has a convex structure in Papier mâché, covered with patinated leather...

This specific sheathing work required more than 4 hours of work...
Total dimensions 42X42cm.
