Mini fresco of 20X30cm size realized on vegetable tanned cowhide leather of 4mm thick.

Carving technique on leather, sculpture of the grain of the leather after chiseling. 

Inspired by an engraving by Albrecht Dührer, it represents the (listed) castle of the Dauphinois village of Montseveroux, in Isère, during the pivotal period of the Renaissance which transformed it from a stronghold house into a stately home ... 

The coat of arms is that of the "De Leusse" family, owner of the castle in the 16th century.

 Framed by a studded wood frame enhanced with embossed leather outlines.
